Shoe Tying Assistive Device
Goal: Make a prototype to help assist hemiplegic children tie their shoes. In teams, we developed comprehensive project plans using solidworks and a 3D laser cutter to make a efficient and functional prototype.
Water Irrigation Optimizer
Goal: Create a functional device intended to preserve water in CA in times of droughts. It needed to be both sustainable and effective. In teams, we made a prototype that detects water level, controlling when/how much water can pass through a pipe.
Software/Materials used: Solidworks, Arduino, C++, Ultrasonic sensor, and Solenoid valve
