As a flexible caregiver at MSPCA-Angell, I embrace adaptability and compassion in my role. I adjust my schedule to meet the diverse needs of the animals, whether it's providing extra attention to a shy pet, assisting during busy adoption events, or helping with special initiatives. My ability to transition between tasks—like feeding, grooming, and socializing—ensures that each animal receives the individualized care they deserve. I strive to be a calming presence, offering emotional support to both the animals and potential adopters, contributing to a nurturing environment that aligns with the mission of MSPCA-Angell.

• I have been an active member of the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club for a significant part of my life, and I truly enjoy giving back to the place that has provided me with so much. I spend time in the homework room helping students, and I love playing challenging games like chess and checkers to foster connections. My involvement in clubs like Keystone and Breadloaf allows me to contribute to community service projects, while I also help keep the club clean and welcoming. By giving back, I hope to inspire others and create a positive impact, just as the club has done for me.

As the middle sibling, I find myself balancing a range of family responsibilities, especially with my brothers in college. I take an active role in caring for my younger sister, making sure she feels supported and guided as she navigates her own challenges. I also assist my father by translating for him from English to Spanish, ensuring he can communicate effectively in various situations. With my mother working night shifts, her days are devoted to caring for my grandfather, who is battling dementia, and my grandmother, who is fighting cancer and undergoing dialysis and chemotherapy. While these responsibilities can be overwhelming at times, I embrace my role within the family, knowing that my support is essential for everyone during these trying times.
