Color Guard Captain

Color Guard immediately became a passion of mine. I realized quickly that teamwork and communication were vital in order to have a successful show, more so, a successful season. The marching band is dynamic, so each section needs to do their part and give it their all. You have to want to be part of a team and part of something bigger than yourself. Interpersonal communication is key when speaking to my peers, to ensure they are receptive to constructive criticism. It's just as important to be introspective when taking suggestions from the team. I love being part of something bigger than myself.
