
I have exercised leadership and critical thinking skills to inspire growth and good sportsmanship in young athletes while at C.H.A.S.E. as well as providing educational excellence and planning for over 80 students per semester at Way Of Wisdom Homeschool Group, showing communication skills and classroom management.
I have worked as a volunteer basketball coach at C.H.A.S.E. for the last two basketball seasons. I am both an assistant coach for 10u/12u girls and a head coach for the 14u girls. Throughout my time orking at C.H.A.S.E., I have learned the following things: leadership, team building, coordinating schedules/events, communication, how to cultivate sportsmanship, integrity, and a hard work ethic into the players on my team(s), being a positive mentor, and respecting the opposing team even in the tough situations.
I have worked as a Kindergarten-High School teacher at Way of Wisdom since fall of 2019. As a teacher of over 80 students per school semester, I have acquired the following skillsets: organization skills, communication skills, behavior management, leadership, and how to build strong relationships with my students, fellow co-workers, and my peers. My job as a teacher is to help my students thrive in their environment, grow in their knowledge, and encourage them so that they will encourage others. I am a math, social studies, art, and Marine Biology teacher. All of the classes that I have taught have been approved and funded by Oxford Schools.
