Summary

I am a focused and dedicated educator with 4 years of experience in 5th grade. I have become so passionate about educating children in the upper elementary grades using various activities and organizational tools. I have mastered developing lesson plans using Google Slides, creating effective formative and summative assessments using the district curriculum, and navigating our online learning management system to organize lesson plans for students and parents. My strong organizational skills allow me to effectively master the curriculum and ensure student success. I am also a diplomatic communicator when addressing parents and children about disciplinary actions. I firmly believe that having strong classroom management and a safe classroom community is the first step in promoting high student learning and achievement. I pride myself on my classroom management ability and close relationships that I have been able to build with all of my students over the past 4 years. I am thrilled to be returning to my home state of Colorado.
