Ceramics (COIC)

• Obtained experience with oxide-oxide ceramic matrix composites, which included prepreg fabrication, layup, and assembly
• Supported process improvement to double efficiency of ply kit fabrication (hand prepreg to autoprepreg)
• Nested ply cut files to improve cutting efficiency and material usage for multiple programs, saving up to 20% of prepreg
• Streamlined radome program to support Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP)

• Supported multiple aircraft programs that included fiberglass lay-up, metal bond, aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels, and assembly
• Analyzed engineering drawings, parts lists, models, and specifications to create complete and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Obtained experience utilizing materials resource planning (MRP)
• Led multiple startup/ongoing programs and effectively communicated with teammates and management to facilitate and improve production processes
• Analyzed customer’s product design and specifications to determine part manufacturability
