- As part of my duties, I handled internet marketing, made promotional videos and hosted pop-up events at local fitness centers such as Orange Theory.

- I handled check-in and check-out, discussed grooming options with clients and assessed how I could provide the best possible service for them and their dogs to ensure happy, repeat customers
- I enjoyed how busy the job kept me and the challenges that came with grooming dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages and temperaments
- I gave dogs full-on haircuts, including shaving the dog's body as needed, scissoring the details, and shaping their faces according to the owner's wishes
- I also managed the salon for two weeks, essentially by myself when the owner was on vacation, despite having only a month of experience on the job
- I did all of the accounting, managing, checking customers in and out, bathing and drying the dogs, then giving them a haircut
- I really enjoyed the extra responsibility of managing the salon, interacting with clients and seeing how happy they were with how I groomed their dogs
- Customers were extremely pleased with how I groomed their dogs
- This experience shows that I learn quickly which will be applicable to my work as an esthetician who always needs to know more about products and treatments.
