Human Rights Series- World Aids Day Memorial Event, George Mason University, 2025-11-18, 2025-12-10, As a graduate student for George Mason University's Public Health Department, I volunteered to facilitate and organize a World Aids Day memorial event on campus. My role was to engage with organizations within the community that offer sexual health services and awareness materials. I also created registration forms and post-event surveys for attendees. During the event, I was tasked with presenting our materials and resources, as well as introducing our guest speakers.
Graduate and Professional Students Association, George Mason University (August 2025 – May 2026) In August of 2026, I was recruited by the GAPSA office to act as a student representative for the George Mason Master of Social Work program. In this role, I act as an advocate and outlet for the student body and all of their concerns. Each month all GAPSA representatives meet to discuss University wide concerns and work to find equitable and effective solutions.
