Key Programs

• Design and implementation of custom-built solution for Rating and Policy Administration replacing a third party vendor product. This involved building a new RPM platform on a completely new technology stack and the end to end implementation including design, development, testing and rollout was completed in under 2 years.

Role: Program/Engagement Manager

• Instrumental in representing TCS's unique differentiators that helped TCS getting awarded replacing incumbent vendor
• First point of contact for Client organization for discussing solutions, program strategy and any escalations
• This was TCS's first engagement with the client and was able nurture a relationship that has established as the primary IT partner for all IT solutions
• Collaborated and coordinated with Program Sponsor, CIO, Product Owners, Business SMEs at client organization to define implementation roadmap
• Rolled out an iterative 2-year roadmap for implementing in 2 phases - first quoting and then policy administration capabilities
• Led a team of 40 members across onshore and offshore including engineers, architects, UX designers , automation and performance testing experts to execute the project
• Partnered with TCS Testing COE to define automation roadmap for fast tracking regression testing

When : June 2014 to October 2018

Key Projects Listed Below- On all of these projects was working with CIO for the bank's Commercial Banking LOB to define IT roadmap, cost benefit analysis and rollout plan

Client Onboarding – Application developed for Case Managers on Red Hat BPM to ensure tracking of entire Account Opening process for new clients Reduced Account Onboarding time for new clients from 3 months to about a month

Gateway - Aimed at improving User Experience for clients. This application eliminated about 80 paper based forms and provide a digital platform for clients to fill in application forms for account opening and product fulfillment

Robotic Process Automation: - Focused around automation of repetitive tasks like applying payments to Loan Accounts, Loan Closures

Accomplishments

• Grew TCS’s presence at an exponential rate between 2014 to 2017 from a small 10-member squad to nearly 80 members.
• TCS became the Primary Delivery Partner for developing and deploying Commercial Bank's first client-facing application
• For Robotic Process Automation- there were 4 vendors who submitted proposals. Ensured that TCS got picked for it as TCS had the necessary technical expertise as well as SME knowledge on some of the processes to be automated. More than 35 BOTs were built

When : Sep 2010 to May 2014

Role : Offshore Engagement Manager

• Led a team of 50 + manual and automation testers performing UAT for migration of legacy DDA application at the bank to Flexcube
• Leveraged in house Flexcube SMEs to work with Product owners to define comprehensive suite of test scenarios
• Defined a roadmap for UAT across NA and countries in Europe
• Collaborated with TCS Automation COE to automate over 5000 scripts

• Joined Fullerton India Credit Corporation when it was starting up business in India and had only 20 operating branches with loan processing, credit approvals , disbursal approvals being executed over emails
• Led an enterprise wide effort ( 40+ team members) along with Newgen Software Ltd a Loan Origination System integrated with Flexcube as its core banking product
• Enabled Fullerton India to scale up to 700 branches in next 18 months on the back of strong IT platform for Loan Processing
