My job history is very diverse, but it has allowed me to develop and pick up many skills and has helped me grow professionally. I have extensive communication skills and very proficient at multitasking. I'm a fast learner and good with technology and learning new systems. I have always been a hard worker and can work independently or with a team I'm very adaptable and will go where ever I'm needed and always ready to help out.
I am currently looking to getting my foot in the door with working in the healthcare industry as it is also something that I wanted to do and I am eager to learn. I am looking at a change in career and some day plan to be a Professional Certified Medical Coder, but before that happens I want to gain real experience in healthcare first.
I currently work as a support teacher at the Primrose school of The Woodlands at Sterling ridge. I work in the Young Toddler classroom with age ranges from 12 months to 18 months. My job is very heavily curriculum based school even at a young age I teach the toddlers a variety of curriculum from movement skills, to music, language, math, science and sensory, art, writing, and reading. The students have a new unit to learn every month and I am in charge of helping keep track of how the students are developing curriculum wise and growth as toddlers. We use a system called Procare to keep track of everything the students do and it is all documented for staff and parents to review and go through. I help keep the classroom tour ready and make sure the students are following the daily schedule and help them learn the structure and expectations of the classroom. I follow all state policy and rules along with following the expectations and standards that make us Primrose ready.
