The center employed 400+ employees who were serviced by the Facilities Support Services team. Responsibilities include purchasing, in/out bound and interoffice mail, document imaging, facility security, fire protection, safety, office ergonomics, facility services; i.e. pest control, janitorial, mechanical services; Developed detailed specifications for required services as well as following through on the bid process. Off site records management, record retention process and secured recycling were included in areas of responsibility. Trained and supported Facility Supervisor for the Paducah, Ky. location. Management’s liaison to the Wellness and Activities Employee Committees to contribute to positive employee moral throughout the center. Safety and facility orientation for new associates. Supervision included 1 Coordinator and 12 full-time Facility Support Service associates. Maintained effective working relationships with employees and customers within LYNX Services.
