• Troubleshoot deficiencies, service, and repair flight critical equipment
• Equipment operator and maintainer of: hydraulic lifting devices, turbine powered generators, towing devices and auxiliary power units, AC and DC power generators, air compressors, portable lighting units, Fuel storage tanks, and heavy duty vehicles
• Ensures on-hand equipment meets Army/OEM serviceability standards
• Inspect, operate, and maintain fuel distribution system to receive, store, transfer and issue aviation fuel
• Inspect system for leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and inoperative components
• Perform operator maintenance to include checking components for operation, adjustment, pressures, and external leakage under pressure, removing/cleaning/inspecting receipt and dispensing equipment
• Receive and transfers fuel by properly hooking up and manipulating controls while monitor meters for proper system operation
• Perform required quality control testing of aviation fuels as required by quality assurance standards and maintain constant surveillance over fuel equipment and systems to ensure no deviation from accepted quality assurance standards
• Use independent judgement and a comprehensive understanding of product specifications to make field-type visual and/or instrument checks that are necessary to identify product contamination
• Perform function as Facility master driver/trainer on all fuel operations
• Follow Federal, State, and local requirements when storing, using, handling, labeling and disposing of waste
• Monitor vehicle mounted control panels, gauges, meters, and instruments for proper operation
• Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 100% of the time for task and maintains PPE IAW local directives
• Able to perform duties as fire guard without physical limitations to aid escape, rescue, or containment
• Comply with environmental regulations and policies
• Responsible for maintenance and scheduled services on ground support equipment
• Keeps maintenance records according to regulations

Duties during 2018-19 Deployment and reserve status:

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and services on UH-60 helicopters, vehicles, and ground support equipment
• Utilizes the technical manuals when performing maintenance and troubleshooting of military equipment
• Maintain accountability of tools and equipment

Duties during Covid mass Vaccination site activation Feb-Jul 2021:

• Processed patients to receive covid vaccination under the cook county medical system
• Assisted nurses with Spanish speaking patients
• Assisted patients in any adverse reactions during processing.
