Weld square tubing with mig root and flux fill and cap.

Help fitter pull measurements to cut and fit tubing to build structures.

Torching used at times.

• Weld tested 3g with backing bar 1/16in flux wire, MIG/Flux welding on inside of beam webbing.
• Various welds required CJP code.
• Are gauging of root pass through beveled side of steel plate.
• Interpret written and verbal instructions of work orders and welding blueprints.

• MIG/Flux welding on inside support vessel installing bubble cap trays and welding into place.
• Installing vessel filters in vessels and assembling/disassembling of blind flanges.
• Arc gauging root pass of pipe weld on vessel caps to fill and cap with flux.
• Fitting pipe to meters/ flanges

• Weld test 2g MIG/Flux light poles support plates.
• Fit and weld welds-o-lets on and in pipe/ square tubing poles.

• Weld test 6g 2’monster pipe.
• Pull measurements at compressor station pad.
• Cut pipe to length and weld flanges/ fittings to 1104 x-ray code. 6010 root 7018 uphill.
