• Kafka Certificate Renewal: I recently worked on distributing more data governance methods and web platforms that allow customers to view, access, and change their data traffic. I was responsible to maintain multiple systems each with their own source and target endpoints belonging to our active customers. I provided data services and on-call rotations where I administrated the processes on these systems as well as providing any solution that my customer might face with their system. Technologies used during this time is Kubernetes for environments, jobs, etc. Python for Agent-Platforms and scripting for jobs, React for notification-platforms in the form of web applications. The meat and potatoes of this project is the Python cron-job that ran on Kubernetes in our own environment. This script fetches the entirety of all kafka certificates that are hosted by our customers, checks the certs metadata and renews its attributes in a automatic and efficient way. It then throws out an API call indicating that all certificates were renewed and updated.
• Mobile/Web Form Builder Applications: I have 5 years of experience with development was in a company called Buildertrend in 2018, Omaha Nebraska, where I developed multiple apps using technologies such as Javscript, ASP.Net, MVC, C#, SQL, HTML/CSS, Java, and Swift. We developed a mobile application using both Swift and Android Studio that allows construction managers (Buildertrend customers) to create a contracts, form papers, etc that they need on the go without having to make them go back to office. This helped the company increase the usage of their app by 10%.
