- Performing intravenous insertion and assisting in PICC placement.
- Doing blood collections (BGA, CBC, SE, Bld C/S, and any blood investigations), as well as urine and stool collection.
- Assist in intubations, extubations, umbilical catheterization, chest tube insertion, and exchange transfusion.
- Preparing IVF medication incorporation (Pediatrace/Soluvit) and preparing intralipids for all the patients in the unit.
- Perform OGT and NGT tube insertion and giving tube feeds.
- Assesses the situation of the given unit in relation to different types of patient care and facilities provided by the nursing personnel.
- Administer medications as ordered and other nursing independent, dependent, and interdependent functions.
