Work History

ECEI

I worked as an Electronic Communication Equipment Installer for the first 8 yrs of my employment installing communication equipment into all types of County vehicles, including critical Command Vehicles. I also volunteered for other projects including the relocation of the Fire CETS switch, along with various Phone shop and Microwave shop projects.

For the past 11 yrs. I have been on assignment with the Field Service Shop. Duties included Dispatching, Procurement, Project Management, etc. In this time I have also spent time in design and repair of Comm equipment such as consoles and SCU's, repair of radios and equipment, training of the new employees, inventory control.

I am also the first and main contact for Customer service and routinely walk customers through the process of restoring service. I am extremely versed in the County's communication systems. I am usually the first to recognize system issues and report outages to responding organizations.

Occasionally we have major disruptions where I have shown to be an outstanding coordinator of available resources.
