Accomplishments

I started in 2000 at Tennessee Rand as a Wire EDM operator. While working there I learned Manual machining, Cnc Machining (Mazak) and Surface grinding when there was no work on wire EDM.

I also was moved to the saw area as we were short handed at times where I maintained and ordered all materials needed for the company whether it be tubing for weld shop or materials for machining along with cutting all materials with allowances to be machined or assembled and be in specifications of all drawings.

While at East tech Company I ran a Mitsubishi Wire EDM and also attended School in Nashville for programming and cost estimation on run times. It was at East Tech where I got into the Quality Inspection area of manufacturing with our Quality Manager. I attended Ziess CMM class in North Carolina while there and set up and evaluated parts on the Ziess CMM. I had several positions while at East Tech company.

My main job in beginning at East Tech was to start and over see production processes on all nuclear parts making sure that procedures and process were in concordance with the customers specifications and anti-contamination standards.

I learned long ago that a persons word, work ethic, determination, ability to work well with others and ability to adjust to the environment will make that person more valuable as an employee.
