• Assisted the veterinarians with examinations on dogs and cats
• Was responsible for clipping toenails, drawing blood, collecting fecal and urine samples, physically holding animals, taking x-rays, and assisting owners
• Initially, I worked here from June to December 2020. However, I worked in this same position in June 2024.

• Was responsible for updating weekly social media posts on Twitter and Facebook for the dental office
• Responded to emails and comments made by patients
• Called patients regarding canceled or missing appointments

• Was involved in a research project regarding the transmission of Salmonella from iguanas, agamas and other nonnative lizard species in the South Florida geographic area
• Performed necropsies on euthanized lizard specimens and processed them using quantitative polymerase chain reaction( qPCR) methods

• Was responsible for assisting in taking care of the horses, chickens, ducks, and donkeys at the farm
• Performed a variety of tasks including: feeding, cleaning kennels, grooming, and interacting with the animals
• Gave the necessary medications for the animals
