• Performed standard preparation and prime coat painting of aircraft and assisted in final coat painting, decaling and marking of all types of aircraft.
• Skilled in sanding, feathering, edging using orbital sander, applying sealant, washing and treating surfaces using a variety of chemicals.
• Responsible for mixing, thinning, blending, matching, tinting and toning coating material.
• Applied coating materials such as primers, paints, Teflon, anti-static and corrosion preventive coatings utilizing standard application techniques with conventional, air assisted, airless and electrostatic equipment.
• Ensured coating finishes, protective requirements and surfaces were free from skips runs or drips which minimized the need for rework.
