Extracurricular Activities

My primary passion is music and the diversity of its composers. I am a professional flutist, educator, and composer. I perform throughout the country in various conventions and ensembles ranging from chamber ensembles to full orchestras. 


In 2022, I premiered a nine movement orchestral work called Requiem Sinfonica. It is dedicated to the lives and their families affected by Oakland's Ghost Ship Fire. That same year, I premiered and published works for solo flute and flute choir with Alry Publishing. 


I continue to volunteer with the Awesöme Orchestra Collective, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create accessible orchestral adventures for musicians and the public. They have participated in many events bringing social change and equitable opportunities to represent marginalized and under represented composers and performers. I also served on their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Board Committee to further champion their DEI causes.
