Worked on CAD Design for specific components of the robot using Onshape.
Assembled and oversaw assembly of various components of the robot which included many practical hardware skills in construction and mechanical engineering.
Collaborated with team members during the design phase for our CenterStage Robot and finalize the structure of our CenterStage Robot and to make any new modifications on our robot.
Participated in community outreach activities that promote STEM learning and Robotics at Elementary School Science Fairs, YT Shorts, and Posters.
Kept track of the progress for our CenterStage Robot through creating checklists and assessing constraints and criteria as well as documenting the design and structure for various components of the robot.
Build Events
Science Olympiad
09.2022 - 04.2024
Streamlined communication between event partners to navigate challenges with cost and difficulty of the build events.
Worked with various electronics components for the Detector Building event including Arduino, breadboard, resistors, wires, LEDs, FSRs, and Strain Gauges.
Created documentation through design logs for all my build events.
Created sensors such as a Weighing Scale that uses FSRs and a Salinity Meter which measures the concentration of salt in water.
Experimented with strain gauges and reiterated many designs for a weighing scale that uses strain gauges.
Gained new woodworking skills through the Scrambler Event in Science Olympiad
Reached out to other team members and offered assistance and guidance in their build events for Science Olympiad.
