Dedicated and empathetic professional with a strong background in both animal and human care, committed to improving the well-being of others through compassionate, hands-on support. I bring a unique blend of experience from equine-assisted therapy, direct mental health care, and community outreach. My work with troubled youth, individuals experiencing homelessness, and adults with mental health challenges has shaped me into a patient, reliable, and solution-focused team member.
As an assistant trainer at Lillicrest Farms, I’ve developed excellent time management, behavioral observation, and communication skills, balancing the needs of animals with individualized client goals. In my current role as a Direct Support Professional, I’ve become skilled in de-escalation, emotional regulation support, and daily living assistance, while consistently advocating for client dignity and autonomy. I am known for being calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and deeply motivated by a desire to see others succeed.
Currently in my third year of a Bachelor's program in Psychology through UWEC and CVTC, I plan to pursue a Master’s in Adolescent and Trauma Counseling at UW-Stout. My long-term goal is to develop inclusive therapeutic riding programs that support trauma recovery for youth and young adults. I am passionate about creating environments where people feel safe, empowered, and capable of healing—qualities I bring into every role I take on.
