An early-career structural engineer with 2+ years' experience in the private sector, looking for a role where I can meaningfully contribute with my design and analysis skills, an expand my breadth of knowledge and hands-on exposure in structural engineering, project management, and other related disciplines.   • Collaborated and contributed on 50+ projects with exposure to multiple construction types and materials: Materials include reinforced concrete, hot rolled and cold formed steel, wood and masonry; Project types range from small renovations to SOE design, to detailed façade support systems, to low-, mid-, and high-rise structures supported on shallow spread footings, mat foundations, and various types of deep pile foundations; Lateral systems include bearing wall systems of all materials, building frame systems, and moment frame systems; Contributions include drafting, reviewing, designing (hand calculations and computer based), modeling, communicating and coordinating with clients, reviewing shop drawings.
  • Fully designed and managed multiple projects, including a design of a 45,000-gallon reinforced concrete water tank, a two-store multi-family wood structure, and others.
  • Produced dozens of structural analysis models in ETABS and RISA (floor, 3D, 2D).
  • Familiar with various building codes and standards, including (but not limited to) NYS, NYC, FL, CT, and NJ building codes; and ASCE 7, ACI 318, ACI 350, AISC 360, AWC NDS, and TMS 402/602 standards.
  • Designed and drafted a full library of typical structural details - as needed during specific projects, and for future use.
  • Created multiple spreadsheets to aid in the structural design of (but not limited to) retaining walls, wood flexural members, composite beams, and wood connections.
  • Conducted a peer review and provided a comprehensive report on a redesign of a steel high rise structure with a previous stop-work order.
  • Performed small scale forensic evaluations and provided recommendations, reports and letters.
