During my time at CamNet, I was contracted primarily by hospitals, libraries, schools, municipalities, and private businesses to install and troubleshoot access-control systems, security and intrusion systems, camera networks, nurse-call systems, as well as network equipment like APs, bridges, and switches. The camera and AP systems were run on cat5/cat6, and I have experience running, splicing, and terminating SM/MM fiber. The access control systems were run on composite with card readers, REX, maglocks, and strikes. For most of the contracts I would pull the cable, terminate, test/certify, install the device hardware, and dress/label everything in the MDFs. The systems I worked on were primarily 3xLogic, Axis, Cisco Meraki, Verkada, Assa Abloy, and Bosch. I used Autotask and Salesforce to track sales orders, to schedule, and to document work orders and scopes of work.
I was part of a team that was deployed all over the Southwest, from Hobbs to Denver to Scottsdale. I worked on the network and security systems for dozens of new construction sites for hospitals and municipal buildings, including the new Bernalillo county building in Albuquerque.
