Groundman for Glacier Electric Summer Pre-Apprentice Program. Assisted the Journeyman Lineman and Foreman in the installation / maintenance of our power-line system. Operated multiple tools and ditching equipment for residential systems. Transported tools and equipment to different job sites in remote locations. Helped set up / take down of damaged poles. Daily use of hand lines, blocks, and tying knots to secure equipment or tools. Aided in all aspects of a entry-level groundman as well as pole testing / restocking of the trucks and shop. Performed varies building maintenance duties including mowing, cleaning and tool prep. Participated in many tailboard safety meetings and pre-trip inspections in order to safely perform our duties.

Assisted Master Plumber in job duties. Pipefitting and installation of residential water and sewer lines. Hand digging for located utilities and spotter for backhoe operator. Jackhammers and demolition of concrete along with the cleanup duties. Leak detection and replacement of internal natural gas lines. Taping and installing shut-off valves and safety monitors for gas / water detection. Driving Plumbers trucks / vans to many job site locations.

First Aid / CPR training and qualifications. Maintained order and cleanliness at swimming pool and surrounding areas to uphold hygiene standards. Collaborated closely with management to identify areas for improvement within the lifeguarding program. Lifeguard for special events such as pool parties and competitions. Maintained and upheld safety standards. Completed daily pool maintenance duties by checking chlorine levels, pH levels and temperature. Aided in the installation of heaters and checking boiler systems.
