Accomplishments

MLKSA (Martin Luther King Scholar's Association)- provides management and leadership development skills to its scholars. Students learn how to execute programs and events from conception, development and implementation. MLK Scholars also complete research on issues involving values and social justice


Council of Africana Scholars (Event Coordinator + Fundraising Chair)- a body of black scholars dedicated to supporting and advancing the university's long-standing Africana Studies program, which offers majors and minors focused on the history, culture, and experiences of people of African descent. Our group emphasizes social justice and strength within the community.
