• Work in a classroom of 15 students, ages ranging from 3 to 5.
• Work with children who have autism, Down syndrome, non-verbal abilities, and behavioral disabilities.
• teach children how to be able to do daily tasks on their own, such as wash their hands and put their things away
• Use techniques to help diminish students physical and emotional outbursts towards teacher and other students
•Create a loving and compassionate atmosphere so students feel able to express their feelings
• Help teach children sign language so they can learn to communicate if they are non-verbal.
• Help students understand what they are feeling. Use flashcards to demonstrate their emotions.
