Recommended data analysis tools to address business issues.
Compilation, data cleaning and analysis of previous day sales including stock movements and stock usages for all my respective shops which include Fortstreet complex (Chicken inn, Creamy Inn, Mr Baker and Africa Foods), Mr Baker 10TH Avenue and Hillside complex( Chicken Inn, Creamy Inn and Pizza Inn).
Turnover Comparisons for all the shops in both complexes.
Turnover vs Banking analysis for all the shops: this is a comparison of the money banked and the turnover for the previous day to check if they tally and provide an explanation if there are any variances.
Daily report summary analysis ( DRS) which shows opening stocks for the day, day sales, purchases, stock movement, day closing stocks, wastes and variances concerning all shops.
Computing the GAAP (point of sale which records transactions at the point of sale) vs Kineto (Innbucks system which records all innbuckd transactions) for the innbucks system to compare If the transactions which occur in the Kineto system tally with that of GAAP or provide an explanation if they do not tally incase of differences.
Computing failed innbucks vs GAAP transactions and checking if the money was banked up or down in the process and giving explanations.
Weekly tasks
After every 7,14,21 and 28 days a computation of shop stock covers for that particular 7 day interval which shows the remaining stocks at that particular shop.
Calculating Gross Profits (GPs) for all the respective complexes also after evey 7,14,21 and 28 days.
GP calculation involves analyzing opening stock, purchases, sales, meal vouchers and closing stock as at a particular date to see the gross profit of the shop.
Spotchecking (Cash spotcheck and Inventory spotcheck). Inventory spotcheck is a on the spot audit whereby stock movement is analysed and compared with the opening and stocks at hand which are physically counted and if there are any variances commentary is provided by the shop manager. Cash spotcheck, cash at hand is compared with the sales andopening petty cash for the day of the individual cashier and a report is written
Monthly Tasks
Stock take is done on the first of every month (regardless of the day), this exercise is carried out in order to confirm that the stock figures tally with the number obtained on that day through counting together with the shop manager.
CCTV Audits: Cctv reviews are done every month for any shop which one wants to do audit at that particular time and a report is written.
Sales mix(i.e. capturing the quantities of all the menu items and products sold in a shop over a month are to be done)
Designing and creating models used to capture and analyze data at different times for the upcoming month.
Creamy inn Sunday sales for all the creamy in shops in Bulawayo.
