Administers patient care in an acute setting where patient's receive active treatment for an episode of illness, a medical condition, or post intervention. Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, antineoplastic/biotherapy administration, wound and drain care, glucose monitoring, pain management, and patient and family education.

Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting with a primary traumatic diagnosis requiring complex nursing assessment skills and care including any trauma related fractures or orthopedic abnormalities, traumatic brain injuries, and trauma related injuries requiring surgery.

Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Assists the nursing staff in providing patient care with needs of the department and assists the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
