Ashley Cangana

Participated in scientific research and activity involving Earth Science,
Biology, Chemistry and Physics. During Covid at home “Science in a
Box,” were provided and met online weekly with teachers and professor.

Students gained exposure to various STEM careers and majors, and were provided with learning opportunities that apply their classroom knowledge to find solutions to real-world problems. Math, project design and lab access were provided to students.

Provide free college advising to students from low-income communities throughout their junior and senior year, and even college life. Teaching how to research for colleges, college writing prep, Questbridge Match application and college application guide start to finish fall under the job of advising.

Scholarship recipient to addend workshops in Bio-medical Engineering (2yrs) and Medical science (1 yr) remotely.
