Grounds Maintenance Worker ll positions works at parks, recreation centers and other city facilities to perform a variety of grounds and facility maintenance duties. Some of the many task we have as a GMW are removing weeds, debris, edging, trimming,and fertilizing. In addition, perform minor maintenance and repair of irrigation system, clean and maintain building.

• Trained staff on safe operation of cleaning equipment, tools, devices and chemical and cleaning agents to efficiently perform duties and reduce harm to floors, fixtures, staff and environment.
• Trained and mentored new staff on cleaning and safety protocols.
• Prepared and presented reports of hours worked, staff assignments
• Developed and maintained comprehensive inventory system to track equipment and supplies.
