Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments to evaluate patients' medical history, and surgical readiness.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team.

Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, including what to expect before, during, and after surgery, as well as potential risks and complications.

Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring patients are adequately prepared for surgery.

Assists the Anesthesia team with pre-operative nerve and spinal blocks.

Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, team meetings, and continuing education activities to enhance knowledge and skills in pre-operative nursing practice.

Supervisor role in a cyber/communications squadron. In charge of maintaining SharePoint, base records

management, administrative services, and protecting monitoring sensitive information i.e. Personal Identifiable

Information (PII) and Personal Health Information (PHI), that is mission essential.

Works on a Trauma, Orthopedic & Medical-Surgical Unit. Administering medications, treatments and providing
