  • Ensure the identification of a patient by identifying the patient's information through multiple forms of identifying criteria upon receipt of a specimen. Also, verifying that the patient was reidentified properly in the same manner by the health care professional that performed the reidentification in order to confirm that no further investigation is necessary
  • Effectively participate in projects and initiatives that can assist the department to prepare for CAP, FDA, and DNV inspections
  • Perform multiple levels of testing required by CLIA
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure an ideal testing environment and prevent the spread the spread of infectious disease
