
Ashley leads compliance efforts for the Employee Relations Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, ensuring VTA meets SB 553 requirements through effective communication with stakeholders and supervisors. She developed key training resources, including the Workplace Investigation Basics Training Guide and the Workplace Violence Log Qualifying Entry Guide, which she delivers through quarterly HR Academy trainings and roundtables. Over the past year, Ashley has also developed and presented multiple supervisory trainings, including HR Academy courses (ER 101, Discipline, Investigations) and Collective Bargaining Agreement updates for AFSCME and SEIU, delivering these sessions multiple times in 2025. Her role also includes partnering with supervisors on grievance hearings, discipline guidance and reviews, SAP monitoring, and Substance Abuse Program compliance. This time-sensitive work requires strong ethical judgment, accountability, thriving in a high-pressure environment, and strong decision-making skills, qualities Ashley consistently demonstrates to support her team and uphold the Agency’s policies, values, and mission.
