⦁ Determines eligibility for public assistance programs (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, Title XX)
⦁ Interview clients
⦁ Responsible for taking live phone calls, retrieving voice messages, and returning calls.
⦁ Requests and examines all necessary verifications to determine eligibility and process changes.
⦁ Provide information, written and/or verbal, to resolve problems and answer questions.
⦁ Monitor all interface alerts, task/alert management
⦁ Attend training as needed
⦁ Develop, interpret and maintain knowledge of PA programs and Medicaid
⦁ Assure cases are in compliance with state and federal program regulations
⦁ Develop and maintain computer skills and working knowledge of Medicaid Information Technology System (MITS), Ohio Integrated Eligibility System (OB), Ohio Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS), Compass Pilot, and other state supported internet systems
⦁ Perform other duties as needed
⦁ Serve on agency committees as assigned
⦁ Perform miscellaneous tasks related to job functions or assigned by management
⦁ Provide advocacy for consumer rights
⦁ Recognize and make necessary referrals to agencies in the community
