Volunteer Experience

  • Food Sense Coordinator 8/2018 - 10/2021. Organized and developed the location for Food Sense in Cayuga County. This is a monthly food buying co-op that offers food to the community at discounted rates. I assisted in taking orders, placing the monthly order, organizing, and running delivery of the food for individuals in need.
  • Rape Crisis Advocate - 12/2015 - 12/2016. Volunteered to provide crisis intervention services to clients, including short term counseling. Provide information to clients about medical facilities, law enforcement offices and judicial proceedings. Referrals to other public and private community services. Provide necessary and appropriate advocacy for clients. Screen for possible suicide risk.
