I have worked in education for 15 years. I started out in Day Care while I earned my BA of Science Degree in Communicative Disorders. Upon learning my BA, I began substitute teaching and was consistently called back to the same schools to cover classrooms as I built and maintained positive professional relationships with the staff at each school. Upon graduating from Claremont Graduate University in 2017 with my Master's in Education, I was hired on with Hemet Unified as an Intern where I quickly gained the skills of differentiating my lesson to meet the diverse needs of my students. After three years in Hemet I moved back to my hometown and began teaching closer to home in Rialto, CA. Throughout my years in Rialto, I have taken on many roles including Lead Teacher, PBIS Internal Coach, and AVID Coordinator for my school. I also completed my district's New and Aspiring Leader's Academy. I have continued to maintain great rapport with my students and staff as well as my administrators. I have conducted many staff meetings and stay very involved in my school.
I have earned my certification in our district's New and Aspiring Leaders Academy and my Reading and Literacy Added Authorization through USC.
