Training and Qualification Pillar Owner

  • In charge of maintaining training standards and consistency within the four departments of the facility.
  • Aided in the development of Action Plans for operators going through plant training. Action Plans are specific, time-based items that trainees if completed will allow them to be successful in their job.
  • Created TPO Pay Progression curriculum within the MyLearning Learning Management system. This system automatically issues courseware and training to each of the employees at Glad Manufacturing and tracks who has completed what training and who still needs to complete certain items. I was responsible for creating each of those requirements, the training needed for each task and the management of the system for the entire plant. I developed the requirements and tasks operators must complete to progress in pay.
  • Maintain training documentation and Learning units for coordinator roles within the plant. (Safety, Quality, Hr, Production, and Technical roles)
  • Manage reporting and completion of corporate-wide training such as Code of Conduct, Security Awareness
  • Lead Training initiatives and implementation across the plant by working directly with Department Managers and Op's Managers.
  • I managed the consistency and objectives for training and qualification for my team of four individuals.
  • Training and Qualification is a part of the Continuous Improvement Team for the plant, So I am well versed in Autonomous Maintenance Training, Focused Improvement Projects, ZEC's (Zero Effort Changeovers), BDE's (Breakdown Elimination). Our job is to coach operators through the above processes and teach them how to eliminate losses on their equipment and use methodologies and tools to improve processes within the facility
  • Hold quarterly meetings with corporate resources to ensure the plant is meeting quarterly goals and what tactics are being taken within the plant to achieve those goals
  • I traveled to Canada with the engineering team to develop training documentation on new equipment being brought into the plant. I also worked to get the equipment AM Step 3 qualified and safety checked before the equipment was brought into the plant
  • Provided onsite training
  • Effectively controlled the release of proprietary and confidential information for general client lists
  • As a pillar owner I helped lead the initiatives of a team of thirteen and helped develop strategic goals, coaching, and training to make teammates successful at their jobs.
  • Proactively identified and solved complex problems impacting operations management and business direction
  • Lead the Continuous Improvement Team in the delivery of coaching, training, and losses projects which required close cooperation among members to share information and develop solutions to meet a broad array of deliverables
