• Captive — Wynwood Laundromat, 2022

Animated and mixed-media installation exploring the ethical issues surrounding orca captivity and marine animal performance culture. The piece combined animation and live-action footage to depict a baby orca’s forced separation from the ocean and the psychological trauma of captivity. Displayed on a phone encased in a waterproof bag within a water-filled tank, symbolizing how aquariums confine these creatures to artificial environments.

Digital artwork reimagining Medusa with earthworms in place of snakes, layered with real footage of worms in motion. The piece visualized the artist’s personal phobia of earthworms and examined the interplay between fear, beauty, and transformation through digital composition.
