Summary

God granted me a unique opportunity to serve as a volunteer leader within the student ministry at Crossroads Fellowship Church for 5 years prior to opening the door for me to step into the student Pastor position. While serving in this role, I was blessed to see the group grow deeper spiritually as students crossed from questioning their belief in God to trusting and accepting the gift of salvation offered by him and his son, Jesus Christ. I was also blessed to baptize 8 of my students as well as 2 students in our children's ministry and my own son in my first summer in this role. The growth in breadth has also been a blessing. We took 30 students to camp last summer and this year we are looking at taking 50.


I have also been able to be part of developing and discipling our first completely youth led worship band, and helped to create congregational crossover with one of our students who now leads every Sunday morning in community worship.


My time with Unbound International taught me skill sets to help understand trauma induced responses in all ages, primarily children and teens and has proved to be an asset in different circumstances throughout my year on staff.
