Ashley Stanger

Teaching lessons to family members for a number of years adds an eye of detail to technique, rhythm, intricate exercises and experiencing peace in playing. Occasionally performing together for church services and service projects brings unity and appreciation towards the blessing of music.

Played the cello for Region and State Festivals. Received Superior rankings at both.

Attended rehearsals and played for the shows as a member of the Stanger family fiddle band.

Organized many recitals to share music with the Senior Center in Tremonton. They make the best audience and create a very wholesome experience.

Performed a few fiddling tunes for the Annual Gathering of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Rehearsed and performed in Mantua, Utah. The performance was broadcasted to a university celebration in China where the Utah sunrise was coming up as the Xian sun was setting. Teaching various groups and cultures about music creates a great sense of togetherness.

Prepared and performed Christmas songs in a chamber group for those that were donating blood. This was to support and comfort the Red Cross and those who were donating.

Worked all summer through daily rehearsals to play as a family band for the Box Elder County Fair. It was a very enjoyable learning and performing experience.
