- Experience READ ALLIANCE We as High school students were given the opportunity to tutor children in grades kindergarten and First grade how to read. We tutored these children about three to four times a week. We taught them each word thoroughly and had them say it and write it multiple times so that they would learn the word. Children had their own reading and could not proceed to the next level without passing a mini test with our High school Student managers.
