Serves as a Section Chief assigned to Delta Company 3-227th Assault Helicopter Battalion in the 1st Air Cavalry
Brigade, 1st Air Cavalry Division; responsible for the health, welfare, training, safety, physical fitness, professional
development and discipline of 24 Soldiers and their families; determines assets and personnel required for 30 UH-60M
helicopters valued in excess of $60 million; performs operational checks and scheduled inspections, diagnoses and
troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft subsystems, removes and reinstalls aircraft subsystem assemblies such as
engines, rotor, gearboxes, and mechanical flight controls and their components.
Serves as a UH-60 helicopter repair team leader assigned to an Aviation Support Battalion (ASB), supporting the
Brigade's 53 H-60 Blackhawk helicopters; responsible for training, safety, health, welfare, morale and professional
development of five Soldiers and families. Performs and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors,
gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components; services and lubricates aircraft and their
subsystems; prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks; performs scheduled inspections and assists in
performing special inspections; performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and
troubleshooting aircraft faults.
