Proven leader and effective communicator, I excelled at West Wind Assisted Living by efficiently managing medication-assisted treatments and ensuring resident safety, showcasing my problem-solving and organizational skills. At Gina's Buzz Thru, I demonstrated creativity and flexibility, overseeing operations and enhancing team performance. My approach consistently improves operational efficiency and fosters a positive environment.
MAT stands for Medication-assisted treatment.
At West Wind I was in charge of giving half of our residents there daily medication 3 to 4 times a day. Charting was also a big part of the job, I was to chart the medication each resident had taken at which time they had taken the medication. If a resident had fallen or got hurt in any way, that would also be charted, I was also to call the family's and an ambulance. Residents who could not get up and around on there own needed help with things like: using the bathroom, being changed if they were not able to get to the bathroom, taking showers and/or bed baths and getting to and from meals.
At Gina's Buzz Thru we had one person working each shift. I was to work the cash register for both inside and drive thru. Also I restocked everything in the store by the end of my shift. I had to make sure everything was clean as in sweeping, mopping, clean off tables and counters, and windows. I was also in charge of making the schedule, counting the money in the register before and after my shifts, and closing the store. When the owners would go on vacation I would be in charge of everything as in getting the store ready to open, making sure the money count was correct at the end of the day, and taking the deposit to the bank. I also in some cases hired and fired employees.
