Work History

Hospitality Team Member

Buffalo Wild Wings
10.2019 - Current
  • Collaborate with various team members within my department (and others when necessary) to meet guests' needs.
  • Established and maintained relationships with key customers to constantly feel welcomed, satisfied and loyalty to our store.
  • Listen to costumer's wants and needs and working together to find solutions over phone and in person.
  • Developed and executed strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Experienced and managed hectic atmospheres This alone requires experience, time management, multi tasking, and teamwork.
  • Fortunate enough to work throughout the pandemic; quickly adapted to new requirements and precautions
  • As a key leader, I am required to lead, train, and guide all newly hired team members within the hospitality department. Not only am I encouraging positive progress for the company, but I am helping establish new relationships with those loyal costumers as well.

Clinical Student Educator

Charles Street School

  • Continued to work closely with students in small groups and lead larger group activities. However, often felt misused in classroom.
  • Took opportunity to talk to my cooperating teacher to see where she believed my attention would be best fit. Constructive criticism was welcomed.
  • Created lessons that were specific to each student but could be performed in group setting. Often times we focused more on steps that were taken to get from point a to point b rather than the final product.
  • Every student obtained a 504 or IEP plan, I needed to make sure I was being mindful of all students when creating activities, lessons, and even holiday parties.
  • Establishing and growing trust with families was very important. Not only so I could work on on one with their loved one, but so I could incorporate aspects of home life into lessons.
  • Quickly adapted to filling in my role as a one-on-one. Although that was not my intended position, my university allowed it.
  • It is important for me to note that I did not take any classes that would allow me to obtain a special education certificate. However, since many classrooms are inclusive, my placement was dictated simply on what district was willing to accept me; rather than my actual qualification.
  • I struggled during this semester, but in the end the reward was great. This experience taught me a lot about myself, how to be a better co-worker, and co-teacher to those students. .

Clinical Student Educator

Geraldyn O Foster Early Childhood Center
09.2019 - 12.2019
  • Worked closely with students who obtained IEPs and personally gained a better understanding on how to adapt to different teaching approaches to provide students with new ways of learning.
  • Had the pleasure to work with 2 focus children during the entire duration of my time in the classroom.
  • Accurately gathered information pertaining to students
  • Created differentiated lesson plans that were executed during my time
  • Was able to communicate minimally with Spanish speaking students
  • Geraldyn O Foster was my second clinical experience; it was wonderful having so many legal guardians and families give their consent for me to not only be around their loved one, but work intently with them. There are times when some families tend to be a little skeptical with student educators.
  • Continued my involvement in morning meeting, small and large group settings, lunch, and send off.
  • Incorporated different aspects of the community into my everyday learning.
  • Diversity in this school district is a beautiful thing. Students and staff allowed me to emerse myself into the different cultures and really make connections into my lessons. Representation made all the difference with my students. I'll always remember this time in my clinical journey as a positive, eye opening, and rewarding learning experience.

  • Provided one on one learning with select students (parent consent)
  • Lead morning meeting, story time, and send off.
