I have been in the Medical field in various positions for about 17 years. I have been a Pharmacy Technician, Medical Coder, and an IT Analyst. I have been responsible for many different areas in the medical field including the following. Primary IT Analyst in charge of 7 applications. That included all updates and support issues. Backup IT Analyst for 5 other applications. Validating Provider Credentials and assigning them the correct authorization in the system. Testing for new applications; or updates to my assigned applications. I was in charge of the "Wellness Program" through HR which allowed employees and spouses to renew their benefits. This included working with the lab for the employees and spouses to process their lab work to update in the HR application. So that they could complete their benefits. I added all new Providers to the system and created them schedules. I also worked with the Providers software Analyst to make sure that everything was uploaded to their system. I was the support Analyst for all printers within the Hospital and Physician offices. I posted payments from insurance companies to the correct accounts. I coded and billed insurance companies daily.
