Ashlyn Knaebel

I currently am an employee to the education program, Zen Hippo, where we specialize in sensory and motor skills with young children. In this position I work both with the children, as well as the parents, teaching them special skills and helping implement learning skills at an early age. I assist with lesson planning, setting up class, leading certain programs, and more.

• Worked closely with over 10 teachers to promote engaging lesson plans and assist 50+ parents daily to implement unique learning styles outside of the classroom.
• Assist with multiple classes daily which cover 10+ subjects, including but not limited to history, music, cooking, art, and reading.
• Organize and assist with classroom's containing 10+ children per class accompanied by their parents. On average, teach 5 classes a day.

As social media manager, I was responsible for providing quality content for my agency, managing several accountants as a time, keeping a professional relationship with multiple clients, and producing money making results in our media programs.

As a Marketing and PR assistant at Palm Beach Atlantic University, I was responsible for assisting with multiple on campus events, proof reading and editing important campus articles, emailing with members of faculty, photographing important events around campus, and so on. Due to my heavy course load at the time, I was unable to maintain this position to better pursue my college education, but learned a lot of important skills that I later was able to apply in future jobs.

As a camp counselor at Pine Cove, I got a lot of hands on experience working with young children all day. As their counselor, I was the person in charge of leading them throughout the day, ensuring they behaved camp rules, and developed personal relationships with each child.

For an entire semester, I student taught for a 2nd grade class at Forrest Grove Elementary. I created my own lessons plans and would be in charge of the classroom for an hour, once a week.
