I’ve had a love for animals and a passion for helping others since I was a child. I began working with animals through FFA when I was just 8 years old, gaining years of experience in feeding, grooming, training, and caring for livestock. Throughout school, I successfully balanced animal care with academics, athletics, and extracurriculars—learning early on how to manage my time and responsibilities effectively.
In high school, I was involved in football, powerlifting, theatre, and FFA while maintaining strong grades. I also began helping friends and family with their farm animals, providing support with feeding, general health care, and facility upkeep. I’ve continued this type of hands-on work even after graduation, recently assisting a family friend with plumbing repairs to ensure his animals had consistent access to water.
Professionally, I’ve developed strong customer service and work ethic skills through positions at True Value and Wholesale Steel. At True Value, I enjoyed helping customers find what they needed and offering to assist with loading products into their vehicles. I later joined Wholesale Steel, where I stayed for over two years, gaining additional experience in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
In my free time, I volunteer to help coach youth softball and continue to assist with animal care, including dog sitting and helping with FFA projects. I’m dependable, hardworking, and passionate about animal welfare. I’m seeking a role where I can continue to grow in the animal care field, work with a team that shares my passion, and make a meaningful contribution every day.
