As a child, my parents quickly realized that I was a very independent person that craved the need for a responsibly and a task at all times to keep myself occupied. Growing up around the horse and agriculture industry, it caused myself to become very matured and organized, helping me in any work environment. Although I consider myself independent, my favorite thing is learning new things and meeting new people while doing it. I come from a family that has a drive for work, and that has shifted onto my drive for meeting that same standard. No matter the environment, I bring a positive attitude and a smile.
In agriculture, FFA stands for the community we call future farmers of america. As a freshman you work to earn your greenhand degree which requires a certain amount of money raised within your purpose of FFA, mine being showing and auctioning show pigs at the big fresno fair. After that, you obtain the Chapter degree as a Sophomore, and this requires 10,000 dollars raised on your cause in addition to 25 hours community service, which I completed through my FFA program. Lastly you obtain the State degree which is the last degree you can get in High School, before the last the American Degree. The State required 50 hours of community service on top of 15,000 dollars raised.
