My accomplishments not only gave courage and confidence but it became a milestone in my life that I'll never forget. I got accepted into one of my dream school I was overwhelmed with joy and fear. I was finally making my parents proud and going off to school to be bigger. i passed my PCT exam back in June and that was the biggest milestone I've made. After the first test I lost some confidence and I lost some hope but i also never gave up either.

A little before my high school graduation I received a Charles Barkley scholarship. I thought I wouldn't get it because tons of students applied for it and I was doubtful. But everything doesn't turn out the way that most people think it would. I ended up getting it and it made a huge impact one me and my future plans.

For 12 years I've played softball. Softball was my therapy it was a home away from home. I  went from a third basemen to a pitcher and i lived out that pitcher position to my fullest potential. it became my safe space. yes that circle can build a lot of pressure but it can also can be a space between just you and the catcher. Throughout highschool school the love and the desire to play began to dim and dim every second and every minute. Every sport has that one person who can turn something that you love most in the world into something you despise. i took a year off and went into track and it was the best decision in my life. although i didn't pursue an actual career in it, it was something that replace a hole in my  heart and made me feel more alive and exhilarating again.
